April 1st 2011:  The Crowfield Curse won the Solihull Children’s Book Award! Sadly, I couldn’t be there to thank everyone who voted for the book as I broke my leg last Christmas, and am still not mobile. I was delighted and very honoured to win the award, which was generously sponsored by Asda. Thank you to everyone involved.

November 2010: The Crowfield Curse longlisted for the CILIP Carnegie Medal 2011

October 2010: The Crowfield Curse shortlisted for the Solihull Children’s Book Award 2011

October 2010: The Crowfield Curse shortlisted for the Gateshead Children’s Book Award 2011

October 2010: The Crowfield Curse shortlisted for the Coventry Inspiration Book Awards 2011 (Raring 2 Read category)

October 25th 2010: The Crowfield Curse released in Germany (Der Fluch von Crowfield).

September 1st 2010: The Crowfield Curse released in U.S.

June 7th 2010: The Crowfield Curse was selected as one of the books for this year’s  Booked Up scheme. The scheme is run by Booktrust and it lets all Year 7 pupils  choose one free book from 19 titles, consisting of fiction, non-fiction and poetry. By Christmas 2010, more than 2.5 million books will have been given to children across the country since the scheme began in 2007.

May 2010: The Crowfield Curse released in Australia.
